The drama film Life of the Sea directed by Ms.Cai Gengyu and the documentary film People Living Deep in the Mountains directed by Ms.Li Jingxian, both of whom are Arts Masters of Class 2020 majoring in Broadcasting and Television, have been selected for 23rd International College Student Film Selection. Their guidance teachers were Pro.Huang Yali and Pro.Li Shengke respectively.
The 30th Beijing College Student Film Festival & the 23rd International College Student Film Selection received over 2,000 submissions, of which 120 advanced to the final selection round. Among them, 50 drama films, 20 animated shorts, 30 documentaries, and 20 experimental shorts were selected.
The International College Student Film Selection founded in 2000, is an important student unit of the College Student Film Festival. It has been successfully held for 22 sessions and is a cradle for exploring and cultivating film and television talents with original creativity. It has attracted great attention from college students and the film industry at home and abroad.
