On April 11, President Xu Hee-Tena (허희영) of Korea Aerospace University (KAU) and his delegation visited BCU. Vice Chair of University Council, Prof. Ye Yingfang, met with the delegation on behalf of the university. Director of School of Economic Management, Director of School of Aviation Service and Management, and Deputy Director of International Affairs Office participated in the meeting.

Prof. Ye Yingfang, Vice Chair of University Council, extended a warm welcome to KAU delegation and introduced the general situation of our school. BCU actively integrates into the overall development of the country and the capital, takes application and practice as its course-running characteristics, aims at serving regional development, and adheres to the international development strategy. She reviewed the history of international cooperation between BCU and Korean universities and the achievements made in the field of international exchange, and expressed the hope of deepening the practical collaboration in promoting the high mobility of teachers and students and scientific research collaboration between the two universities.
Tena Hsu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of BCU and introduced the situation of Korea Aerospace University. KAU was founded in 1952 with the mission of cultivating professionals in the field of aviation and space, and attaches importance to international development and cooperation and exchange with Chinese universities. This is the first visit by the President of KAU in recent years. He hopes that this visit will deepen mutual understanding, increase cooperation and make productive achievements. The Dean of the School of Aviation Management, Mr. Li Dongming (이동명), and its Director, Mr. Zhao Xinsheng (조신생), introduced the advantages of the School and its international exchange programs.
Both sides had an in-depth discussion on the undergraduate exchange programs, master degree talent training and student exchange activities. After the meeting, the delegation went to visit the Aviation Professional Training Centre. Both sides looked forward to further strengthening practical collaboration in related fields and cultivating more high-end technical talents with international vision.
