BCU Students Gained Excellent Planning Award of the 4th "My China Story" International Short Video Competition

On Jun 9th, the 4th "My China Story" International Short Video Competition, sponsored by China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, released Finalists for the Creative Collection. “Taco's Battle of Honor! Egg Pancake Questioning a Mexican Boyfriend”, sent by the School of International Culture and Communication, BCU, stood out from 132 works, gained Excellent Planning Award, and will also gain guidance from professional tutors and start-up fund.

 

 This BCU work was guided by Tutor Li Yan from Communication Department of BCU. Li Dongxuan and CAI Yan from 2019 Spanish Major, and Liu Chang, the 2020 Spanish Major graduate (now the Proulex Chinese project coordinator of University of Guadalajara Mexico, a partner university of BCU) and Sun Peining from Network and New Media Major, Communication University of China formed a team, focusing on Chinese "egg pancake" and Mexican "taco" , the two dietary elements. This award is an excellent achievement of training of international audio-visual communication talents in the School of International Culture and Communication, and also a typical representative of the integrated development of foreign language and media majors.

 

 "My China Story" International Short Video Competition collects creative proposals on Chinese stories from an international perspective from the public. The event gathers the wisdom and experience of Chinese culture and industry on "going global". It is a wonderful breakthrough to tell the Chinese story well, and an important platform to highlight the Chinese spirit, Chinese value and Chinese power.
