On five consecutive weeks from May 9th to Jun 10th, School of Economic Management, BCU, and Seentao Co. Ltd. jointly launched practical training courses towards students from Finance major (Internet Finance), with the theme of Financial Data Analysis and Application, and conducted simulation practice in data collection, data cleaning, data integration, and multi-factor quantitative trading.
The training was carried out online using DBE Cloud digital intelligence practice teaching platform, which was jointly taught by Zhen Hanlei, a teacher from the Finance Teaching and Research Department of BCU, and Cui Lujiao, from Blockchain and Fintech Division of Seentao. A total of 86 students participated in the training.
During the training, students can feel the important application of big data in financial business in the immersive financial scene, which improves their data insight ability and financial business analysis and decision-making ability. This joint teaching also explores and practices a new way of school-enterprise collaborative education under the new technology conditions.
