The competition is sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and organized by Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. It aims to cultivate university students’ scientific and technological innovation spirit as well as practical ability, to improve the level of college students' scientific literacy, scientific research skills, and to enhance the professional communication between students, so as to further improve the quality of undergraduate training and teaching.
