Lecture Series on TCM to San Marino and Mexican residents

Since March 26th, Beijing City University (BCU) has organized five lectures on traditional Chinese medicine. As soon as the event was released, it was strongly supported by San Marino Confucius Institute and the Mexican cooperative universities, attracting nearly 100 residents of San Marino and Mexico to attend.

Lecture series revolves the topic of traditional Chinese medicine closely related to peoples life, mainly including: how to prevent cervical spondylosis in Chinese way, common medicated diet food in daily life and the types, quantity, quality and geographical distribution of TCM resources and their efficacy. This activity has well enhanced the understanding of TCM culture among the residents in Mexico and San Marino and surrounding areas, and achieved good cultural communication and exchanges.



Anna, a student at San Marino Confucius Institute, said: I have always been interested in TCM culture, but I found it was difficult before. The explanation and presentation of the lecturer were very interesting and easy to understand, which made me feel that TCM is not that difficult.

Erick, a student at the University of Guadalajara, said: I really like TCM. It's very interesting.I am very happy to attend these TCM lectures and hope to attend regularly.

Traditional Chinese medicine culture is an important part of Traditional Chinese culture, which embodies the profound philosophical wisdom and The health preservation concept and practical experience of the Chinese nation. On the basis of this activity, BCU will continue to carry out a series of Chinese cultural activities to promote the exchange of cultures between China and other countries.
