SSLC Meeting of Programme and Project Management Master Programme Successfully Held

On May 25th, Programme and Project Management Master Programme, jointly held by Beijing City University and the University of Warwick, embraced a Student-Staff Liaison Committee meeting. The WMG Academic Lead in China David Reynolds, WMG Overseas Programmes Teaching and Learning Officer Sharon Murray, BCU Program Coordinators, and student representatives all attended the exchange meeting.

SSLC, jointly organized by the University of Warwick and Beijing City University, aims to build an equal and efficient communication platform for staff and students, and provide corresponding solutions for the problems encountered by students in their study and life, so as to better serve students. On the meeting, the student representatives focused on the course learning, graduation requirements, exchange activities and other questions. The British and Chinese parties patiently answered the questions and gave practical solutions, so that the students could have a clearer understanding of the existing learning state and future planning. The students expressed their high satisfaction with the programme and said that they’ve gained a lot from the study.

This joint master programme was officially approved in 2013, and has been highly valued by the the State Council and the Ministry of Education. In 2014, the project welcomed the first batch of students and has recruited students for 8 consecutive years so far. With a first-class academic atmosphere, cutting-edge business consultation and close teamwork, the programme aims to further enhance students' leadership and strategic thinking, and cultivate global governance talents with cross-cultural management ability and practice the concept of win-win cooperation.
