On November 10th, the induction meeting was jointly held both online and offline by University of Hull in the United Kingdom and Beijing City University, with all professional teachers and students of Accounting presenting. Besides, Professor Philip Gilmartin, Pro-vice Chancellor and Mr. Dominic Greenfield, Head of Global Recruitment of the University of Hull, as well as Professor Lian Yuchun, Vice President and Dr. Zhang Xinyuan, the Deputy Director of School of International Culture and Communication of BCU are invited to the meeting.

Prof. Lian reviewed the cooperation between the two universities over the past four years. He hopes both sides would deepen cooperation, jointly cultivating international talents. After that, Prof. Gilmartin expressed his congratulations and welcome to students in Year 1, and introduced the University of Hull and its accounting modules. Then, senior students of BCU send their videos showing how they study and live at the University of Hull. Lastly, students interacted with teachers of the University of Hull on courses, scholarships and living environments.

For years, BCU has been working on talents training and curriculumconstruction in accounting. And it will continue to organize more teaching and researching activities withoverseas partner universities, cultivating more international talents.
