On Feb 22nd, 2019, the foreign teachers’ meeting for new term 2018-2019-2 was held by the International Affairs Office, with all foreign teachers of BCU and relative Chinese coordinators attending. Besides, the Deputy Director of Foreign Studies Department Ms LIU Jiaoyue was invited to the meeting.

On the meeting, the award ceremony for Top Foreign Teacher of Term 2018-2019-1 was held, with certificates, bonus and presents awarded. The first prize went to the Japanese teacher KANEKI YUKO, and the second prizes went to the Spanish teacher CESAR ACOSTA and the English teacher DAVID WARREN EWING. This result is based on the evaluation from peer teachers, Teaching Affairs Office and students. More importantly, the foreign teachers negotiated the teaching arrangements for the new term with relative Chinese coordinators. Through the new-term meeting, each detail of the teaching schedule was well discussed and organized, and the administration regulations of foreign teachers were optimized, which will both ensure the orderly conduct of the teaching.
