The School of Economics and Management at Beijing City University has signed a Friendship Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management at Kyung Hee University, South Korea.

On April 23, the signing ceremony of the Friendship Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the School of Economics and Management of Beijing City University and the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management at Kyung Hee University, South Korea, was held at BCU Shunyi Campus. Attending the ceremony were Professor Won Suk Jung, Dean of the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management at Kyung Hee University; Professor Yanan Li, Department Head; Professor Kwang Bong Lee, Administrative Director; Professor Miao Su; as well as Professor Peiyu Yang, Dean of the School of Economics and Management of our university, along with core faculty members and project leaders from the School.

At the signing ceremony, Yang Peiyu extended a warm welcome to Dean Won Suk Jung and his delegation. He expressed hope that the signed Friendship MOU would serve as a foundation for collaboration between the two institutions in areas such as discipline development, course sharing, and scientific research cooperation, jointly cultivating high-quality talents with international perspectives.

Dean Won Suk Jung highly commended our university's distinctive approach to applied talent cultivation. He stated his anticipation for promoting Sino-Korean cultural exchanges and deepening cooperation and friendship between the two universities through faculty and researcher exchanges, student mobility programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and joint research initiatives.

Professor Yanan Li introduced Kyung Hee University's academic strengths in business, medical and health sciences, and ESG management. Professors Kwang Bong Lee and Miao Su also shared their expectations for the collaboration, believing it would provide opportunities for academic exchange and resource sharing while enhancing both institutions' influence in international education.

The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on specific implementation details for future cooperation and preliminarily reached a series of collaborative intentions, laying a solid foundation for substantive cooperation moving forward.

After the signing ceremony, Dean Won Suk Jung and his delegation visited the Practical Training Center of the School of Economics and Management. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the School's achievements in discipline development, faculty composition, teaching facilities, and scientific research output. The delegation spoke highly of the School's accomplishments in the fields of economics and management.

This agreement has established a new platform for educational cooperation between the two universities, which will promote mutual development and advancement. The visit concluded with both parties expressing confidence in the fruitful collaboration ahead.
