BCU signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.

On November 21st, Beijing City University signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Construction Design & Research Institute"). Meng Yuan, the Director of the School of Urban Construction, Liu Hui, the dean of the Urban Planning and Design Institute of China Construction Design & Research Institute, and the business backbones from both sides attended the signing ceremony.

Liu Hui extended a warm welcome to the representatives of the university and introduced the overall situation of the company, its business segments and the direction of future development. Meng Yuan gave a detailed introduction from aspects such as the discipline construction of the university, the specialty settings of the school, talent cultivation and school-enterprise cooperation. The meeting also summarized the professional internship situation of the on-duty students.

After in-depth exchanges between the two sides, the strategic cooperation agreement was signed. China Construction Design & Research Institute is affiliated with China State Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CSCEC) and is one of the State-owned Grade A construction enterprises with the most comprehensive specialties and the largest scale in China. The two sides will conduct in-depth cooperation in building a collaborative innovation platform for industry-university-research, constructing an industry-education integration platform, jointly applying for scientific research and standard-setting projects at all levels, jointly carrying out academic and new technology exchange activities, as well as in aspects such as internships and employment. They will gather innovative resources and enhance collaborative interaction to contribute to the high-quality development of both the school and the enterprise.
