The National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) Entered Beijing City University (BCU) for May Festival Commonweal Concert

On May 9th, the choir of the NCPA came to BCU and brought a high-level musical feast for the teachers and students, and more than 600 students attended the event.

May Festival is an important art festival planned and held by the NCPA every year. While holding wonderful concerts in the NCPA, artists also went into communities, schools, scientific research institutes, special areas and cooperative institutions to carry out commonweal concerts, allowing the public to have close contact with music. The activity aims to give full play to the leading and exemplary role of the NCPA as a platform for universal art education, further improve the modern public cultural service system, creatively implement cultural projects benefiting the people to constantly meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the public, and strive to improve the artistic quality of the people. Since its launch in 2012, more than 170 public commonweal concerts have been held, benefiting nearly 30,000 audiences and attracting wide attention from all walks of life.
