The farewell reception for H.E. Mr. Jia Guide, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to San Marino, was recently held with great ceremony, with over 200 representatives from various sectors in Italy and San Marino in attendance, including Mr. Valentinetti, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. The San Marino Confucius Institute (CI) was invited to the event and received special attention from the Ambassador.
In his farewell speech, the Ambassador specifically commended the CI for its longstanding and active contributions to promoting the Chinese language, fostering cultural exchange, and enhancing friendship between the peoples of China and San Marino. He expressed heartfelt appreciation and high expectations for the CI’s future endeavors.

What further inspired the entire CI team was that the Ambassador personally composed a congratulatory message to mark the CI’s 10th anniversary. In his handwritten note, he fully affirmed the CI’s educational achievements and encouraged it to continue leveraging its strengths to elevate people-to-people cultural exchanges between China and San Marino to new heights. The message, filled with warmth, goodwill, and vision, reflects the Ambassador’s deep regard for and strong support of the CI’s future development.
In her remarks of gratitude, Guo Xiaoxia, Chinese Director of the CI, said that the Ambassador’s recognition and encouragement would serve as a powerful source of motivation for the Institute moving forward. She reaffirmed the CI’s commitment to its founding mission, pledging to further enhance teaching quality, broaden the scope of cultural programming, and make even greater contributions to mutual understanding and enduring friendship between the peoples of China and San Marino.
