Recently, San Marino Confucius Institute was invited to attend the seminar on "Cultural Factors in International Chinese Language Education". The conference was hosted by the Confucius Institute at the Oriental University of Naples and Confucius Institutes in Italy and San Marino attended. Ms. Guo Xiaoxia, the Chinese Director of San Marino Confucius Institute, attended the meeting and exchanged ideas on the Methods and Path of Integrating Cultural Factors in Chinese Teaching in San Marino Confucius Institute .

On the basis of summarizing the current situation of the integration of cultural elements in Chinese teaching in the world, the speech analyzed the existing problems from the three aspects of teaching materials, teachers' quality and teaching methods, and put forward proposals for further discussion and cooperation in these three aspects. The speech was recognized and positively responded by the directors of various Confucius institutes in Italy, and initially reached the intention of conducting on-the-job training for volunteers and improving teachers' quality.

On the basis of extensive exchanges, the conference formed a number of consensus. While promoting the exchanges between Confucius Institutes in Italy and San Marino, the conference reiterated the functions of culture in language teaching is to express ideas, spread ideas and make an influence , which will inspire the Confucius Institute in San Marino to further improve the teaching quality in the future.
