On March 22, local time, Jia Guide, the Chinese Ambassador to Italy and San Marino, accompanied by Minister Zheng Xuan, Counselor Zhang Yanyu and Yu Xingguo, and Deputy Military Officer Li Dayi, visited and had an official inspection of the San Marino Confucius Institute.
Jia Guide visited the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum and the library of the Confucius Institute, and had a discussion with the staff of the Confucius Institute.During the discussion, he emphasized the important mission of the Confucius Institute on teaching Chinese, spreading Chinese culture, promoting international exchanges, and connecting with the national sentiment.. He affirmed the achievements of the Confucius Institute, and highly praised the creative initiatives in grasping the important timeline and spotlighting the representative themes.

Accompanied by Brionioni, Chair of the Board of San Marino Confucius Institute, Guo Xiaoxia and Venturini, the Chinese and Foreign directors of the Confucius Institute, Jia Guide was invited to have a meeting with Andrea Beluzi, the Ministry of Education Department of San Marino and Bezucky, the Director General of the University of San Marino. The Ambassador spoke highly of their supports on the the Confucius Institute in their fields respectively, and raised the expectations on the further efforts toward to the Confucius Institute.
