On the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, the San Marino Confucius Institute organized a celebration activity themed on the Lantern Festival "The Lantern Festival - Full Moon - Fulfill Dreams", where 40 guests gathered together to celebrate the Lantern Festival by making Tangyuan and lanterns, writing Chinese characters, guessing riddles, singing Chinese songs and reading Chinese stories.
Through this activity, every participant showed great interest in the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the concept of "homology of medicine and food" of TCM, as well as marveled at the function of acupuncture points of the human body in health care. More than ten of the guests were students of the University of San Marino, who visited the library, discussed the characteristics of Chinese architecture and costumes in the books, and also expressed their expectations for the upcoming Chinese language courses. Their arrival and participation not only reflect the important function of the Confucius Institute in connecting the friendship between the universities of China and San Marino, but also the increasing interest of the students from the local university in Chinese culture.
