The School of Performing Arts held a special lecture on the Vancouver Film School (VFS) study abroad program on November 6th. In an effort to actively broaden students' international perspectives and promote comprehensive personal development, the School of Performing Arts has established a close partnership with Vancouver Film School, jointly building an international bridge for film and television education.
Kat Montagu, Head of Department for Film, Television, and Game Writing at VFS, as well as Co-Head of the Film Production Program, served as the keynote speaker for this lecture. Her professional preparatory courses have helped countless VFS graduates prepare for work in film, TV, and video game studios.
During the lecture, Director Kat Montagu provided students with detailed insights into the filmmaking process and gave an in-depth introduction to the distinctive courses and programs offered by VFS, which focus on practical operation and project-driven learning aimed at rapidly enhancing students' professional skills and creative thinking to meet the demands of the fast-evolving film and television industry.
