On June 24th, Guo Xiaoxia, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino met with the entire teaching team of the experimental project at San Marino High School (Scuola secondaria superiore di San Marino) to discuss cooperation between the Confucius Institute and the high school.
The meeting primarily focused on two topics: the arrangement of Chinese language courses and the implementation of intercultural workshop projects. Through the discussions, the teachers gained a comprehensive understanding of the cultural activities organized by the Confucius Institute, as well as the current participation of students in various institute-organized activities. They showed particular interest in language classes, open days, and Tai Chi wellness classes. With a solid foundation of years of collaboration in language teaching, the Confucius Institute enrolled 15 students from San Marino High School this year, with 5 of them scheduled to participate in the 2024 "Chinese Bridge" Beijing Summer Camp program.
This meeting deepened the cooperation in Chinese language teaching and opened up new areas for cultural activity collaboration between the Confucius Institute and the high school.
