Since March 2024, in order to better stimulate the entrepreneurial awareness and innovative spirit of BCU students, and do a good job in improving students' independent entrepreneurial awareness and skills, the Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre, in conjunction with the Office of Teaching Affairs Office and the Youth League Committee of the university, jointly organised the 2024 YiCaiFenCheng Cup Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.




The competition mobilised all Schools and Students Affairs Offices of the university to actively participate in the competition. Through the active efforts of all schools, 210 entrepreneurial projects were submitted to the university and more than 1,200 students participated in the competition. Through the preliminary selection of grassroots and blind auditing by external experts, a total of 55 entrepreneurial projects were selected to enter the Beijing competition. In order to effectively improve students' ability and achieve precise and effective improvement, BCU invited internal and external experts in five fields to carry out two rounds of more than 10 online and offline counselling for the projects, and the students continued to polish their works under the effective guidance of the experts, and finally three projects were awarded the Top 100 Entrepreneurial Teams, and one project won the 100 Seeds Golden Seed Project, and Ms.Shao Yuanyuan from the School of Art Design won the third prize in the city for his Dream Factory Art Toy Entrepreneurial Project, which was a historic breakthrough.
Subsequently, BCU will continue to co-ordinate resources and build a platform to create a more convenient and secure innovation and entrepreneurship ecology for our students' innovation and entrepreneurship, and to promote the wave of innovation and entrepreneurship to a wider range, a higher level and a deeper degree of development.
