On December 29th, the School of Performing Arts held a special lecture on the New York Film Academy (NYFA) study abroad program. In order to better cultivate a platform for personal growth for BCU students and guide the further development of the field, the school has established a good cooperative relationship with NYFA, creating an international film education platform and opportunities for international film practice and exchange.
Ms. Zhang Jing, the Deputy Director and Operations Manager of NYFA China Office, introduced the relevant academic background of the NYFA to BCU students. It is a world-renowned institution for film and performing arts education, which is certified by the Chinese Ministry of Education, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), and is one of the earliest independent film schools in the world.
Representative Mr.Li Songhuan from the New York Film Academy introduced the content and features of the NYFA-MA program. NYFA aims to nurture a new generation of filmmakers and adopts a practice-based and intensive curriculum approach to meet the demand for technical film and television talents in today's society.

The attending faculty and students enjoyed watching excellent short films produced by students of NYFA, experiencing the charm of the film art. During the Q&A session, representatives from NYFA provided detailed answers to the students' questions. Through this interaction, the students gained a deeper understanding of their professional direction and clearer insight into their future development plans.
