Students from the School of Economics Management achieved outstanding results in the National Finals of the 8th Human Resources University Union You

The 8th Human Resources University Union You (HRU Competition) was successfully concluded in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province from November 24th to 26th. The competition was jointly organized by the Management Committee of Xiong'an New Area, China University of Labor Relations, Human Resource Service of Develop Value Invest in the Future Co.Ltd., and China Xiong'an Group Co.Ltd..Pro.Wang Aimin, Director of the Human Resource Management Department of the School of Economics Management of BCU, was invited as a special guest to attend and deliver a keynote speech.

After the nationwide competition of six regions, over 600 participants from 61 universities across the country reached the finals. Students majoring in Human Resource Management from our School of Economics Management performed outstandingly in various competition tracks, winning 3 special prizes, 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, and a group second prize.

This competition consisted of seven tracks, including leaderless group discussion, human resource practice design, digital human resource operation, workplace practice, case analysis, labor dispute resolution, and human resource English. The competition closely followed actual human resource practices, set up human resource practical scenes, and provided participants with guidance and evaluation from human resource experts to examine their professional skills and practical abilities, assess their gaps from corporate employment standards, and adjust their learning directions and priorities. Over 40 corporate human resource executives and senior lawyers formed the judging panel to evaluate the participants' practical skills, business quality, and workplace thinking. The competition also provided on-site counseling services for internship and employment guidance to college students.

During the finals, a seminar on the development of Human Resource Management majors in universities and the integration of industry and education was held, as well as a series of activities on employment practice guidance for the Youth Know program. BCU successfully established employment cooperation with Develop Value Invest in the Future Co.Ltd., a central enterprise, and completed the employment and entrepreneurship guidance service station award ceremony on-site.

In the future, the Human Resource Management major will continue to deepen the competition-based learning, competition-based teaching, and industry-education integration approach, practice the specific implementation of talent empowerment strategies, cultivating high-quality applied talents with innovative awareness and practical spirit.
