The Chinese language course at the Confucius Institute at University of Guadalajara has been launched in the autumn semester

On September 12, local time,the Chinese language course at the Confucius Institute at University of Guadalajara has been launched in the autumn semester of 2023.

 

Under the guidance of Wei Shuhua, the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute , and Pan Zhimei, the foreign Executive Director of the Confucius Institute, all teachers start the class preparation. According to the teaching syllabus, objectives and content to make the teaching plan of this semester in detail, strictly stipulate the teaching management, carry out the relevant teaching training, and strive to provide high-quality courses for students. At present, the HSK 1,2,3 Chinese courses has been launched.

At present, there are 11 teachers on duty, including 2 teachers and 9 volunteer teachers. The Chinese course in this semester is divided into three levels, 282 students from 18 high schools affiliated to the University of Guadalajara attended the course. This semester, 57 students were enrolled in the HSK 3, 40 students were enrolled in the HSK 2 and 185 students were enrolled in the HSK 1, which is the semester with the largest number of freshmen applicants since the establishment of Confucius Institute. In order to meet the needs of high school students in different regions, all the Chinese courses in high school this semester adopt online teaching mode.

 

In the new semester and the new journey, the teachers of Confucius Institute will devote the teaching work with full enthusiasm, emotion and passion as always, and always remember the sense of honor, responsibility and mission as international Chinese teachers, constantly improve the teachers' professional skills, improve the quality of Chinese teaching, and cultivate more talents in Chinese language.
