Students from the Confucius Institute of San Marino Won Prizes at the First Italian-San Marino Chinese Poetry Recitation Contest

 

Recently, in the first Italian-San Marino Chinese poetry recitation contest, organized by the Science and Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in Italy and hosted by the Oriental Academy in Rome, the students of the Confucius Institute of San Marino recited the Chinese Poem“To Wang Lun” and “To Fan Ye ”, which won the third prize in the middle school group and the third prize in the adult group.

 

 

The award ceremony took place in the auditorium of the Scuola Media Fonte Dell'ovo. Scuola Media Fonte Dell'ovo is the largest secondary school in San Marino. Remo Massari, the principal of the school; Julia, the vice-principal of the school; and Directors of the Confucius Institute of San Marino delivered speeches and presented awards. More than 80 students and teachers of the school attended the award ceremony and the Chinese culture lecture.

The Chinese poetry recitation contest managed to give students and teachers an understanding of Chinese poem and the special emotions expressed in the poetry, as well as to enhance the brand influence of the Confucius Institute and deepen the affection of local students and teachers towards the Confucius Institute.
