San Marino Confucius Institute Celebrated Folk Activities on Guyu

Recently, San Marino Confucius Institute held a series of folk activities to celebrate the 4th International Chinese Language Day, inviting local people to drink Guyu tea, make Guyu stickers, learn Baduanjin Exercise -- a traditional Chinese gymnastics, and commemorate Cangjie, who is the creator of Chinese characters in folklore.

Barbara Trenzi, the President of the San Marino China Friendship Association, attended the activities with her son to experience the folk culture of Guyu Festival and the etiquette of "serving tea". Maurizio Ferrini, a famous Italian actor, made some "Good luck Guyu stickers and learned the operating way of Yin and Yang in Qigong during the activities.

The activities enhanced the local people's understanding of Chinese folk culture, stimulated the Confucius Institute students' interest in learning about mythological stories of Nüwa, Cangjie, etc., and spread the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
