School of International Culture and Communication Conducted Overseas Career Planning Seminars

On April 10th, Calum Porter, Director of International Admissions Office of the University of Hull and his delegation came to BCU to give a lecture on overseas career planning for students from Accounting (International Course) and Finance (International Course) programs of School of International Culture and Communication.

During the lecture, teachers from the University of Hull in the UK explained to the students about the study life abroad, internship practice and academic exchange, and organized a language test for the students of the International Courses to enter the University of Hull, which provided more opportunities for the students to shorten the length of their language courses and study directly in the professional courses. After the lecture, both sides had in-depth communication on the projects of joint textbook research of Chinese and British teachers, joint training of outstanding students and Sino-British financial workshop for Accounting (International Course) and Finance (International Course) programs.

The Accounting (International Course) and Finance (International Course) programs of International Culture and Communication have signed joint training agreements with a number of overseas institutions. Students who have completed the required credits and met the graduation requirements will receive two bachelor's degrees from BCU and an overseas partner institution. After graduation, more than 80% of our International Program students have successfully applied for master's degrees in the QS ranked top 100 global universities.
