On February 18th, Miss. Xu Huan from the Public English Teaching and Research Office of BCU and Miss.Guo Ruoton from the School of International Culture and Communication, participated in the final SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest (University Foreign Language Group) Beijing Competition Area. They separately won the second prize in the comprehensive class group and the audio-visual class group.

The SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest is a national competition, jointly sponsored by the The National Administry Committee on Teaching English Language to Majors in Higher Education under The Ministry of Education, The National Administry Committee on Teaching Foreign language and literature to Majors in Higher Education under The Ministry of Education, and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. The competition was sponsored by the Beijing Association of Higher Education and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, co-organized by the University English Research Branch of the Beijing Higher Education Association, and hosted by the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

On the day of the final, two BCU participating teachers and 30 teachers from other universities in Beijing competed on the same stage. They carried out a live teaching demonstration with full enthusiasm, showing the good professional quality of our young teachers.
