San Marino Confucius Institute was invited to the charity fair

On December 17, San Marino Confucius Institute was invited to the Christmas charity fair held by Seravale High School in San Marino to sell the handiworks with Chinese cultural elements.

One of the products for the charity sale is the wax dyeing works made by the local middle school students in the workshop of the San Marino Confucius Institute, guided by the teachers in the Confucius Institute.

Wax printing is one of the four printing techniques in ancient China, and it is also a technique for traditional textile, printing and dyeing in China. The school provide flyers to introduce Chinese wax printing technique, showing the production process with tutorial. The works were welcomed  and sold out quickly.


The Confucius Institute will use all the money they earned from the charity fair to help children with disabilities. By joining in the charity fair, the Confucius Institute not only displayed Chinese traditional crafts, but also embodied the spirit of universal love in Chinese culture.
