On December 11th, the closing ceremony of the Basic Skills Training Camp on Media Big Data of the School of International Culture and Communication was successfully held online. Pro.Wang Wenxiao, Deputy Director of the Department, Pro. Liu Pei, Head of the Department of Communication, Dr. Zhou Weiwei and Dr. Wei Xuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Communication, Mr.Chen Wei, Director of Anbo Education, Mr. Peng Jianshu, the main teacher, and all the students of the training camp attended the closing ceremony. Pro.Deng Xingjun, the head teacher of the camp, presided over the meeting.
On the closing ceremony, 35 students were divided into 9 groups to display the achievements of the Basic Skills Training Camp on Media Big Data. The display of learning achievements includes visual data display, experimental report analysis, information collection data analysis, etc. The colorful mobile terminal visualization data shocked the audience. Mr. Peng Jianshu, the main teacher of Anbo Education, also gave a professional evaluation: "Through human-computer interaction, students mapped the collected, cleaned, converted and processed data in line with standards and specifications into different statistical analysis charts, which were novel and interesting, fulfilling and efficient. It’s pleasing, creating a strong atmosphere of data analysis."
Basic Skills Training Camp on Media Big Data started since November 10th, which is a perfect encounter between communication and big data disciplines, fully integrating cross-industry application skills. The course includes Take You into the World of Big Data, Big Data Collection, Data Analysis and Excel Related Skills. The project training session collects different media platforms such as consulting, entertainment, and e-commerce, which diver a total of 32 hours courses via online and offline joint teaching. The nearly 40 students participating in the training camp are composed of junior students majoring in Communication, Radio and Television Directing, and master students majoring in Radio and Television Directing.
During the teaching process of the training camp, the teachers were rigorous, serious and responsible, and the students actively participated and completed the tasks conscientiously, which fully reflected the high degree of consciousness and self-discipline. In the end, 35 students successfully obtained vocational training certificates issued by Anbo Education. The school-enterprise cooperation training camp on media big data organically combines theory and practice, which enable students go deep into the industry and accumulate valuable media integration experience in practice.
