On December 13, the first Chinese Handwriting Competition for middle school students organized by the Guadalajara Confucius Institute ended. This activity received 48 entries from ten high schools and language centers affiliated to Guadalajara. The Chinese director and all Chinese teachers of the Confucius Institute participated in the review, and finally selected the first, second, third and excellence awards.
The purpose of this activity is to improve students' Chinese character handwriting ability and cultural literacy, stimulate students' interest in Chinese handwriting, which has also been warmly responded by students and achieved good result in cultural communication.
