BCU students got excellent results in the 2022 National College Student Creative Planning Competition

On November 6, the final of the 2022 National College Student Creative Planning Competition Digital Art Make Difference, Fusion and Innovation Boost Empowerment was held in the form of an online roadshow. Mr. Wang Yixuan's team, Cultural Industry Management Majors of Class 2020 from School of Economic Management, won the third prize for the project Digital Tourism Empowering the Local Guild Halls in Xicheng District with Cultural Development Plan, Beijing and ranked 13th nationwide. It was guided by Pro.Yu Lei. Miss. Li Hanjing’s team, Cultural Industry Management Majors of Class 2020, won the shortlisted award for the project Visit Bell Tower and Drum Tower Online- Creating a New Space for Interactive Education in an Immersive Digital Museum, which was instructed by Pr.Yan Huang.

The two participating projects start from the problems of traditional culture display, and use digital VR and other scientific and technological concepts to empower the projects, committing to creating and disseminating excellent creative concepts. Establishing the traditional cultural service-type digital collection platform for incubating outstanding young creators is highly innovative and feasible, which shows the practical talent of BCU students. It was widely recognized by the judges in the competition.

The two awards are the affirmation towards the construction direction of Cultural Industry Management major under the background of cultural and technological integration of BCU. Cultural Industry Management Team will continue to dive deep in the future, striving to create a cultural industry management major with BCU characteristics.

In this competition, 219 projects from 73 universities participated across the country, and a total of 180 projects from 67 universities passed the preliminary round and advanced to the finals.
