On October 8th, San Marino Confucius Institute  held the Open Day Event. Ms.Laura Gobbi, Director of the Department of Public Administration Training in San Marino, Ms.Barbara Bollini，Mayor of Magoray City, Ms.Gabriella Lorenzi，Director of History Department in San Marino University, Ms.Barbara Terenzi ，President of San Marino-China Association attended this activity with their families.

At the beginning, Guo Xiaoxia, the Chinese Director of San Marino Confucius Institute made a speech. In the Open Day, Students from Seravale City Middle School listened to the have a chance to know more about the history of Sino-San Marino diplomatic relations, visit the Chinese landmarks and photo exhibition of Chinese cultural elements, experience folk activities, such as paper cutting, paper folding, traditional Chinese painting, playing diabolo and so on. They also take part in chopsticks games, explore the Chinese characters evolution, ,kicking shuttlecock, tug of war and try the Chinese famous snacks to experience the rich and colorful Chinese culture. Many students decide to sign up for Chinese courses and Tai Chi workshops on the day. The public event also attracted many local residents, and the event went well.

On October 17, San Marino Confucius Institute will invite another group of local middle school students. Chinese teachers from the Confucius Institute will also join classes in two local middle schools to show lectures and workshops on Chinese language, Chinese geography, and Chinese history so that more teenagers will have more chance to know, understand and fall in love with China.
