Recently, The International Affairs Office organized the learning activity with the theme of "Approaching Confucius and Reciting the Analects". Nearly 100 students from the Confucius Institute at University of Guadalajara, San Marino Confucius Institute and the Chinese Language Training Program participated.

 In class, the Chinese teacher introduced the lifetime of Confucius, explains the meaning of the classic sentences in the Analects, and by giving opportunities to read and recite, students will understand the Analects and traditional Chinese philosophy deeply.

Andrea, a student at the Confucius Institute at University of Guadalajara, said: I can further understand the life of Confucius by participating in this seminar.I was surprised that the Analects concluded by Confucius and his students from more than 2,000 years ago is still applicable today, which shows the great thought of Confucius.      

Marlene, a student from our Chinese Language Training Program, said: I have always been very interested in Chinese culture, and this activity also enabled me to further learn about Chinese history and culture.
