Recently, the 16th China Inventors Forum and the 12th Invention and Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony was held in the China Science and Technology Hall in Beijing. Zhang Yongzhong, a teacher from the School of Information Technolog won this award for his important contributions to the intelligentization of electronic manufacturing, especially in the research of the au-embrittlement of highly reliable electronic products, as well as the invention and promotion of intelligent gold removal technology.

There are 102 winners of the 12th Invention and Entrepreneurship Award. The selection is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Federation of Trade Unions, National Intellectual Property Administration, other government ministries and commissions and relevant organizations. It has become an important platform to discover, cultivate and support outstanding entrepreneurs. Approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2005 and established by the China Invention Association, the Invention Entrepreneurship Award is the first national highest award for inventors.
