BCU Students Shine in 4th Beijing Municipal College Students’ Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition of Energy Conservation, Water Saving, Low Carbon Emission Reduction

Recently, the 4th Beijing Municipal College Students Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition of Energy Conservation, Water Saving, Low Carbon Emission Reduction came to an end, which was hosted by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. BCU participants won a second award and 3 third awards in the competition.

Themed on Low-carbon Emission Reduction and Green Development, the competition focuses on the professional fields related to green, low-carbon, energy saving and emission reduction. Since its start in February this year, it has been highly valued among universities in Beijing, with a total of more than 320 teams from 27 universities participating in, covering nearly 2000 teachers and students.

The Teaching Affairs Office, the School of Economics and Management, School of Urban Construction, School of Biomedicine, and School of Information Science and Engineering coordinated and cooperated to carry out effective organizational work. After selection, 8 teams were selected to participate in the finals. The tutors organized trainning before competition, and the participating students exchanged experience with each other. Students improved their design works, fully demonstrating their training results and personal comprehensive ability and quality during the competition.
