The first batch of volunteer teachers joined the Confucius Institute at University of Guadalajara

Recently, the first batch of three Chinese language teachers joined the Confucius Institute at University of Guadalajara, and attended a two-day induction training and welcoming ceremony.

During the orientation training, Chinese director Wei Shuhua gave a warm welcome to them, and told them about the cooperation process of University of Guadalajara and Beijing City University, and the establishment process of the Confucius Institute, so as to help the teachers understand their responsibilities and mission as a Chinese teacher. Pan Zhimei, the deputy director of the teaching management, and Liu Chang, director of the Chinese language program, put forward their opinions on the teaching method, grammar and vocabulary explanation according to the trial lecture of the new teachers.


Edwin Bello, the foreign director organized a special welcome ceremony. The leaders of the language center in charge of Chinese teaching and campus enrollment publicity and the Chinese and foreign directors of the Confucius Institute attended the meeting. The foreign director delivered a warm speech, expressing his warm expectation for the teaching team of the Confucius Institute, and hoped that the teachers would work and live happily in Guadalajara.

The Confucius Institute of the University of Guadalajara will carry out various Chinese teaching cultural activities in succession. In September, Chinese teaching programs will be open in 10 high schools affiliated to the University of Guadalajara.
