On March 1st, Xu Huangshang, Director of the Primary Education Teaching and Research Department, School of Education, BCU, led a team of 4 members, went to Guangming Primary School Education Group, Shunyi District, and communicated with its President Pei Yanling, Supervisors of its branch school, Kang Wei, Xia Guangxu, on the strategic cooperation on teaching internship.
At the meeting, President Pei Yanling welcomed the arrival of the BCU delegation, and introduced the history, education philosophy and achievements of Guangming Primary School in detail. Professor Xu Huangshang introduced the basic information, practical teaching, subject research and post-class service construction of Primary School Education major. Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the long-term cooperation framework rules for the construction of the internship base, as well as the practice teaching content, practice requirements and relevant issues of this semester, and expressed their good vision and confidence in the future cooperation and development.
Guangming Primary School in Shunyi District was founded in 1979, and the campus covers an area of 20,000 square meters, with comprehensive special classrooms and venues equipped, and a number of Beijing top teachers and recognized core teachers in municipal and district levels, with superior schooling conditions. The expansion of excellent practice teaching base provides a good platform for students to practice, and also puts forward higher requirements for the teaching ability of teachers and students of the School of Education. The School of Education will work closely with the practice base, summarize the experience in the process of cooperation and joint construction, build the practice teaching base into the cradle for excellent teachers, and constantly improve the education and teaching ability of its teachers and students.
