On April 2nd, the launch ceremony for the strategic cooperation projects between Beijing City University and Beijing's Temple of Heaven Park was held at the park's administration office. The event was attended by Pan Xianghua, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary of Temple of Heaven Park; Liu Yong, Deputy Director; along with heads of various park departments. Representing Beijing City University were Vice President Lian Yuchun and faculty representatives from the Faculty of Urban Construction, Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of International Culture and Communication, Faculty of Information Technology, and the University Youth League Committee.

Pan Xianghua emphasized that this collaboration represents a significant opportunity for complementary advantages and joint cultivation of new-generation talents. Temple of Heaven Park attaches great importance to this partnership and expresses full confidence and anticipation for the multi-faceted cooperation in various fields, including social education promotion, service management, cultural creativity, landscape gardening, ancient architecture conservation, volunteer services, digital security, and scenic area social work. Both parties agreed to regularly align their demand inventories and resource catalogs to ensure the effective implementation of cooperation projects.

He stated that the Temple of Heaven Park's abundant resources and mature management expertise will provide Beijing City University students with extensive practical platforms to facilitate their comprehensive growth and professional development.
Lian Yuchun emphasized that the Temple of Heaven stands as a globally renowned cultural landmark of China and a quintessential symbol of Beijing's ancient capital heritage. It serves as a vital showcase platform for the capital's "Four Centers" initiative, "City of Museums" program, and garden city development.

Having recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, Beijing City University is steadfastly advancing its mission to become a high-level, first-class applied university. As two of Beijing's preeminent cultural and educational institutions, the strategic partnership between the university and the Temple carries significant responsibility. Under the framework agreement, both parties have identified specific collaborative project directions and are progressively refining implementation plans through mutual support.
Beijing City University will maintain its distinctive focus on practical scientific research and social services. Through close park-campus collaboration, the institution is committed to cultivating versatile, practice-oriented professionals who can meet the diverse development needs of the capital's urban construction.

Subsequently, Vice President Lian Yuchun and Deputy Director Liu Yong signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement. In another significant moment, Vice President Lian exchanged commemorative plaques with Deputy Party Secretary Pan Xianghua, unveiling two key collaborative platforms: the "Beijing City University Teaching Practice Base" and the "Temple of Heaven Park Industry-Education-Research Cooperation Base."

Following the signing and plaque exchange ceremony, representatives from various departments of both institutions signed a series of Cooperative Project Letters of Intent. Through multiple preparatory visits and discussions, Beijing City University's relevant faculties and corresponding Temple of Heaven Park departments had refined their collaborative plans, formulating over ten specific cooperation projects. Immediately after the launch ceremony, the partners conducted on-site inspections and working meetings to advance practical implementation and deepen project cooperation.

During the on-site project advancement inspections, Temple of Heaven Park leaders introduced several outstanding park employees who are also distinguished alumni of Beijing City University. These alumni proactively shared their academic journeys and professional accomplishments, expressing their commitment to excelling in their current positions at the Temple. They pledged to serve as exemplary role models for current students by demonstrating professional excellence in their respective fields.
