Recently, the CPC Beijing Municipal Education Committee, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, Beijing Teachers’ Union jointly issued the Decision on Commending Excellent Teachers and Excellent Educators in Beijing. Pro.Qin Shiyou, vice chair of university council and vice president of BCU, won the title of Beijing Excellent Educator, and Pro.Huang Sansheng and Pro.Liu Jinju won the title of Beijing Excellent Teacher.

The selection of Beijing Excellent Teachers and Beijing Excellent Educators aims to commend the advanced and set up models, stimulating the enthusiasm and creativity of teachers and educators, and promoting the high-quality development of education in Beijing. In 2022, a total of 183 teachers from universities and colleges of Beijing were commended, including 165 excellent teachers and 18 excellent educators.
