Exchange Meeting between Chinese and Foreign Teachers and Students in Animation (Japanese International Class) Major

On April 15th, Beijing City University and Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics jointly held the exchange meeting between Chinese and foreign teachers and students in Animation (Japanese International Class) major for Grade 2020 through the combination of online and offline methods. Relevant teachers and students attended the meeting.


      

In his speech, Vice President of BCU, LIAN Yuchun thanked KCGI for its long participation in the training of international talents in animation with BCU. He hopes that students could practice their basic skills, learn animation and Japanese well, and become excellent international applied talents of "Internet + Animation". At the same time, he hopes that the two schools can strengthen information technology and online and offline education exchanges, strengthen the core curriculum development between Chinese and Japanese teachers, quality practical curriculum development and teaching and research cooperation and exchanges, and provide students with more online learning, cultural theme collection, and creative product design opportunities of Chinese and foreign cultural elements.


 


President of KCGI, Yoyichi Terashita said in his speech that many students who study in Kyoto, Japan, are now active in various stages of the world and he is very proud of this. He hopes to take this exchange opportunity to promote closer and in-depth cooperation between the two schools, and also hopes that more Chinese students can go to study in KCGI.


The Third "Jingjing Cup" Image Design Competition Award Ceremony was also held during the activity, in which Grade 2017-2019 award-winning works are commended. Mr.WU Ziyi and Mr.XU Li, senior teachers from KCGI, made on-site comments on the winning works.


 

 

It is reported that since the establishment of friendly cooperation between BCU and KCGI in 2012, a large number of excellent animation students are educated, and they have obtained the bachelor degrees from BCU and the master degrees from KCGI.
