On January 6, the Crossing Mountains and Seas, Gathering in Beijing City University themed winter camp, jointly organized by BCU and the Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino, ended successfully.
The winter camp lasted for 12 days. In addition to courses on HSK3, Travel China, and other subjects, it also included lectures on the architectural art in the Forbidden City, China's world heritage sites, the production of traditional Chinese medicine for health benefits, Chinese arts and crafts, Chinese culinary culture, and traditional Chinese festival customs. Combined with field trips, the winter camp students were educated on the philosophy embedded in ancient Chinese architecture, the Chinese zodiac culture, Spring Festival customs, modern Chinese architectural art, and other aspects that encompass traditional Chinese values and the responsibilities of modern China. Students measured the famous historical sites in Beijing with their own steps, learned about Beijing's customs and ever-changing trends from local residents, and experienced the history and charm of the ancient capital, Beijing.
